बुद्धुजीवियों ने केजरीवाल को जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय से भगाया

       २३ मार्च को कोयना हॉस्टल में हुई आम सभा ज ने वि के इतिहास में वैचारिक विपन्नता और ज ने वि के आम छात्र के लोकतान्त्रिक अधिकारों के हनन के रूप में देखी जाएगी| कोयना की मैस हम जैसे लोगो से भरी थी| और अरविन्द अपना मत रख रहे थे| अपना वक्तव्य पूर्ण करने के बाद जब प्रश्नों के जवाब देने लगे, तब एक छात्रा ने लम्बी सूची निकाल कर सवाल पर सवाल दागने शुरू कर दिए| जिन्हें जवाब आने-ना आने की परवाह किये बगैर प्रस्तुत किया जा रहा था| और इस तरह ज ने वि के विवेकपूर्ण वातावरण की धजियाँ उडाना शुरू किया गया| बात यही समाप्त नहीं हुई| जब अरविन्द ने सूची के कुछ सवालों को छोड़कर कुछ अन्य छात्रों के प्रश्नों का उत्तर देना शुरू किया, तब पुन: इन छात्रों के समूह ने शोरगुल मचाकर सभा के आचरणों को ध्वस्त कर दिया| और अपने सभी प्रश्नों के उत्तर माँगने लगे| इससे पहले की मैं अपने प्रश्नों और अपने लोकतान्त्रिक अधिकारों की माँग करू, मैं आपको वह यक्ष प्रश्न बताना चाहूँगा जिसपर कुछ छात्र आपा खोकर सभा करने /होने की मर्यादा को भंग करने  पर उतारू हो गए| यह प्रश्न था-

"अरविन्द जब आप ______ वर्ष में YFE के banner तले आये थे, तब आपने OBC आरक्षण के खिलाफ बोला था| क्या यह सच है?"

अब मैं ज ने वि का एक आम छात्र होने की हैसियत से छात्र समुदाय से कुछ सवाल पूछना चाहता हूँ जो निम्नलिखित  है-

1. क्या  ज ने वि समुदाय का हिस्सा होने के नाते मुझे अरविन्द से सवाल पूछने / उन्हें सुनने का अधिकार नहीं है?
2. क्या हम ज ने वि समुदाय के रूप में अरविन्द जैसे नामो से इतना डर गए है की हम उन्हें कुछ बोलने ही नहीं देना चाहते?
3. यदि अरविन्द OBC आरक्षण का विरोध कर भी रहे है तब भी क्या उन्हें  भ्रष्टाचार  पर बोलने का कोई हक़ नहीं है?
4. जब हम कांचा इलाही द्वारा "Pork and Beef Politics of Food Culture" के बारे में शान्ति से सुन सकते है| तब आम आदमी को त्रस्त करने वाले, रोजमर्रा के जीवन में रचे बसे भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ सुनने में हमारी चूलें  क्यों हिलती है?
5. क्या हम ज ने वि के छात्र जो सार्वभौमिक बौद्धिक होने का दम्भ भरते है, अपने लोकतान्त्रिक अधिकारों का सम्मान कर सकते है?
6. क्या हम, हमारी विचारधारा से मेल न खाने वाली विचारधारा का सम्मान करना जानते है?
7. क्या हम पहचान विलुप्त होने से भयभीत, दुसरो के अधिकारों का हनन करने वाली कुत्सित मानसिकता को हाशिये पर लाने के लिए तैयार है?
8. क्या हम ज ने वि के उन्मुक्त वातावरण के काबिल है?
9. या अपनी पहचान खोजने की लालसा में लगे एक पागल की तरह है जो कुछ भी हरकत कर के अपने होने का एहसास दिलाना चाहता है?

Account of Meeting with First Appealate Authority for "Bathroom Renovation RTI"

In continuation with RTI on Bathroom Renovation

There were atleast six people with me to talk including FAA(First Appealate Authority-Registrar- Sandeep Chatterji), PIO(Jit Singh), Someone from IHA etc. Majorly the complete talk was lead by FAA. These are the lines, I remember-

me: Excuse me, Sir can I ask my friend to come in

FAA: no, only Kapil can come, who are you?

me: I am kapil. can i take a min to tell my friend to go?

FAA: ok

After coming back to the meeting...

FAA: Which center?

me: computer science.

FAA: doing BTech?

me: no masters, Mtech.

FAA: you live in periyar

me: ya

PIO: 149

FAA: Yes, Kapil do you get all the replies?

me: May be, but i am not able to understand.

FAA: let us both help each other to understand the matter

me:ok

FAA: lets start your questions one by one where is your RTI.

FAA: your first question "Please give the list of parameters and(or) reasons bathrooms were found to be in need of renovation."

FAA: were bathrooms were all right? what were the reasons, Kapil?

me: my reply does not matter, i want your reply, I mean JNU's reply

FAA: Have you got reply from IHA?

me: I think I have, please let me see.. No, I dont have this.

FAA: but you wrote that you don't need it, earlier, didn't you?

me: ya, i write. but this tells that- "because of students' repersentations you started", which cannot be the right reason

JNU cannot do it just because of studnts' repersentation

FAA: But, for me it means that you don't need this answer

(Teaching me..that you should never say no to anything coming without cost ... bla bla to show me that i am in fix now)

me: ok lets come to other questions.

[few questions are answered by CPWD so i repeatedly asked to skip that]

me: there are some funny replies see questions 9, 10

Q9. List all parameter, for which official checked the state of bathrooms and found them ready to use

Answer by CPWD: All necessary parameters were checked during execution of work for renovation of bathrooms.

FAA: they have answered correctly, you asked parameters they have said all parameters, if you want detailed you must have given some examples

me: can you transfer my first appeal to CPWD?

FAA: no this cannot be done.

me: Q10 Does some quality standards were maintained in renovation of bathrooms? if so please tell.

Answer by CPWD: Yes, all quality standards were maintained in renovation of bathrooms.

FAA: this is also perfectly correct, you must have asked what standard you are talking about if you want more. They have given you exactly what you asked they are not interested in giving you more information. for detailed information you must directly ask CPWD with proper questions, you must specify what you need.like BEA standard or what?

me: since the time may have passed to apply first appeal at CPWD can you give me any letter or any way to proceed with CPWD?

PIO: we can give a letter. right sir? (asking FAA)

FAA: no, we cannot. you may file fresh RTI with CPWD refering this RTI.

Junk/Bakwaas

This is first time I am writing any clarification, but I think its worth writing here, simply because its my blog. And I am free to write here. Before today the word bakwaas and junk for me are very good. I took them from the mail groups in companies where people write about something that may be ignored for sometime and has a evergreen effect. That means no matter when you read, it never loose its value, taste.
Sometimes, if you are wrongly taken, and words from other side are so harsh that people loose the meaning or intent of your words. I am not a novelist or a literary person, who may write the things in very beautified manner. But still I hope there may be ways for me to put the things in a manner that has scope of discussion rather than passing offensive remarks to others.
To me what JNU_SCSS or jnujems meant?
Answer to this may be simple to me, but i cannot think that a group can go with what one wants. Still I am writing for my sake only. When this idea put before me, I was very happy. It gave me a way where people can share their knowledge, where we can share the positive energy, energy that I never felt in the corporate environment.
I feel a positive energy when there is something, a alumni meet, a intra- or inter- techfest. A lot of thanks to the people who managed them and I wish for all those who will manage them in future.
Since we love JNU, it was an opportunity before us where we can built up a relationship of trust with newcomers. Life is big and so our family must be so that we can extend hand of friendship where we can work for us as in case of Shiv Prakash Tiwari. I thank all those people who put their best effort to get him back as he was.
As, we are expanded into variety of jobs. We need here to nurture multifaceted performers. So that our people may not find it difficult to en root themselves wherever they want. People like Aditya (working for Climate Change Project), Deven(working for embedded systems, perhaps only one of us who is working in the field) who at least thrown a mail to share their ideas. I thank them.
I knew whats the pain a person feel when he is dropped in an environment where more than him a business is important. Your ideas tend to be thrown into bins. Just because you have lesser alumni strength, just because they haven't heard your insti's name.
All this is in process and people like Amit have put fare effort to institutionalize all these things.
But now the time has changed from previous few incidences we have come to a point where we have started, we lead the group to a path where alumni group was, a dead, non interactive, job posting group. I soon may have to abandon it, if the situation continues.
Although the mail is not meant for anybody and still for everybody in SC&SS, JNU, whom I love most and I am indebted to it for providing me a good family of friends.
