शिक्षा- वस्तुस्थिति और भविष्य

परिभाषा

आज के जीवन में शिक्षा जितनी जरुरी है, शायद् और कुछ भी नहीं| शिक्षा वर्षो से मानव सभ्यताओ का अभिन्न अंग रही है| हमारे ग्रन्थ कहते है “गुरु ब्रह्मा गुरु विष्णु गुरु देवो परब्रहम...”, जिसका चर्चित मतलब है की गुरु ही सब कुछ है, वही विचारों को उत्पन्न करता है वही पोषण और वही कुविचारो का अंत करता है| लेकिन शायद ये मतलब सिर्फ चर्चित मतलब है| इसका मतलब मेरी मान्यता में यह है की जो भी वस्तु, क्षण, व्यक्ति, पशु आदि अथवा इनका समूह आपके विचारो को तरंगित करे, वह गुरु है| जिसे यदि साधारण भाषा में कहा जाए की “सम्पूर्ण प्रकृति ही गुरु है” तो गलत नहीं होगा| हर व्यक्ति इसके सान्निध्य में बहुत कुछ सीखता है, यदि हम संवेदनशील होकर इसके प्रत्येक अंश को, कण को गुरु मान कर सीखे तो बहुत कुछ ऐसा है जिसे प्रकृति सरलता से सिखा सकती है| उस अनुभव को चिरकालिक बना सकती है|

हमारी प्राचीन शिक्षा पद्धति भी प्रकृति के भिन्न अवयवों के सान्निध्य को प्रमुख मानती थी| उन्हें समझने, छूने, सूंघने, महसूस करने आदि से पाठ्यक्रम शुरू होता था, और इसी प्रकार विद्यार्थी उस विशेष विद्या को प्राप्त करने के लिए अग्रसर होता था, जिसमे वह रूचि रखता हो| भारत में “नई तालीम” के विचार को स्थापित करने में महात्मा गांधी के सहायक, भूदान आन्दोलन के प्रेरणा स्रोत “विनोबा भावे” अपनी पुस्तक “Thoughts on Education” में कहते है की जिस तरह बच्चा खेलते समय यह नहीं सोचता की वह शारीरिक सौष्ठव के लिए अभ्यास कर रहा है उसी तरह यदि वह शैक्षणिक कार्य करते हुए यह आभास न करे की वह शिक्षा प्राप्त कर रहा है, तब ही वह स्वाभाविक शिक्षा प्राप्त कर रहा है अन्यथा यह उस पर दबाव है|

वस्तुस्थिति

आज हमारी शिक्षा न तो पूर्णत: पाश्चात्य सभ्यता पर आधारित है न ही पूर्णत: भारतीय सभ्यता पर| किन्तु दुखद: विषय यह है की यह चुनाव हमने सोच समझ कर नहीं वरन “जैसा चलता है, चलने दो” के भाव की वजह से अपनाया है| इस सोच ने हमारी आलस्य के सभी बाँध तोड़ दिए है| चूँकि मै अन्य विषयों में भटकने का साहस अभी नहीं कर सकता, इसलिए इस भाव के इस प्रभाव तक ही अपनी बात रख रहा हूँ|

आशा की किरणे

भारतीय संस्कृति में तो कई ऐसे उदाहरण हैं जो विश्वास दिलाते हैं की शिक्षा प्राप्त करने में वास्तविक जीवन के अवयवों का कितना महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है| पुस्तकों द्वारा, वह भी विशिष्ट पुस्तकों द्वारा थोपी गई समझ, छूने, महसूस करने, देखने, बजाने, आदि की समझ से ऊँचे पायदान पर रखी हुई समझ है| इससे आशय यह है की अपनी इन्द्रियों को बंद कर पुस्तकों से वस्तुओ के व्यवहार को समझना ठीक उसी प्रकार की बात है, जैसे हम किसी छोटे बच्चे से लोक, परलोक और आध्यात्म की चर्चा करें| भारतीय शिक्षा के प्राचीन स्वरुप के लिए हम पंचतंत्र का उदाहरण ले सकते हैं जो व्यक्ति को, बिना यह कहे अथवा महसूस करवाए की वह उसे व्यवहारिकता सिखाएगी, सिखाती है|

कुछ पश्चिमी जगत के विद्वानों की जीवनी पढने पर आभास होता है की वह व्यक्ति जो अपने बचपन में वास्तविक अवयवों से खेलता-कूदता बड़ा हुआ है, उसने एक सफल व्यक्तित्व का निर्माण किया| उदाहरण के रूप में NASA Engineer “Homer Hickam” के जीवन पर आधारित फिल्म “October Sky” देख सकते हैं| यह Hollywood फिल्म, Homer के विद्यालयी जीवन की है, जब वे प्रथम मानव निर्मित रुसी उपग्रह (Sputnik) को देखकर, एक राकेट बनाने के लिए प्रेरित हो जाते हैं| यह प्रेरणा न सिर्फ उनके जीवन बल्कि उस कस्बे के लोगो के नजरिये को ही बदल डालती है|

इसी प्रकार यदि हम Nuclear Physicist “Richard Feynman” की बात करे तो वे अपनी पुस्तक “Surely you must be joking Mr. Feynman” में बताते हैं की वे अपने बचपन में, पॉकेट मनी के लिए लोगो के रेडियो ठीक करते थे और इससे उनकी विद्युत् और उससे जुडी विभिन्न वस्तुओ जैसे कैपासिटर, रेसिस्टर आदि के बारे में समझने में बहुत मदद मिली|

Buckminister Fuller जिन्होंने C12 की संरचना सुझाई, Geodesiac Domes (ऐसी ईमारते जो भूकंप रोधी होने के साथ साथ खड़ीं करने में सुविधाजनक, उर्जा संरक्षक होती हैं) का architecture सुझाया, वे बचपन में लकड़ी के खिलौने / औजार बनाते रहे, उन्हें स्कूल में ज्यामिति समझने में दिक्कत होती थी और बाद में वे Mensa जैसी प्रतिष्ठित High IQ Society के अध्यक्ष पद पर रहे|

शिक्षा की वस्तुस्थिति की भयावहता

आज की हमारी शिक्षा पद्धति खोजी न रह कर विश्वासी हो गयी है| इसमें और धर्म ग्रंथो में कोई विशेष भिन्नता नहीं रह गयी है| विद्यालयों-विश्वविद्यालयों में पदासीन हम लोग यह बताने में कठिनाई महसूस करते है की क्यों धरती गोल है? कैसे एक व्यक्ति मानले की वह गोल ही है?

जीवन के बहुमूल्य २० वर्ष एक बच्चा अपने माँ-बाप और समाज पर विश्वास कर हमारी शिक्षा पद्धति को सौप देता है| इन वर्षो के दौरान उसे कोई ऐसा मौका नहीं मिलता जहाँ वह जाकर देख-समझ सके, की बीस वर्ष उपरान्त उसे कैसा काम करना होगा? उसे काम के दौरान किस-किस तरह की कठिनाई उठानी पड़ेगी? कहाँ उसकी शिक्षा काम आएगी? किस किस तरह के काम होते है? कौन कौनसा काम कैसे होता है? जो काम उसे मिलेगा उसमे वह ख़ुशी महसूस करेगा अथवा नहीं? क्या जो वह कर रहा है उससे उसके मन में जो सवाल घूमते है उनका हल मिलेगा? संतुष्टि मिलेगी? आदि| इन सवालो के अम्बार में से एक भी सवाल उसके लिए सुलझा हुआ नहीं होता| हमारी शिक्षा पद्धति जैसे एक अंधविश्वास पर चल रही है| उसमे उससे कोई पूछने की जुर्रत नहीं कर सकता अथवा करता नहीं| इस तरह की शिक्षा न सिर्फ नवयुवको को अपने कार्य को लेकर असंतुष्ट रखती है साथ ही गुलामी का भाव भी जगाती है| “जो पढ़ रहे हो वह सही है| अच्छी नौकरी पढने के बाद ही मिलेगी, इसलिए पढ़ते रहो|” इस प्रकार के वाक्य शिक्षा में पारदर्शिता को ख़त्म कर रहे है और नई सोच के पनपने में व्यवधान पैदा कर रहे है|

पुन: वास्तविक जीवन से कटी हुई शिक्षा पूर्ण नहीं हो सकती| वह विद्यार्थी को नहीं बताती वास्तविक जीवन में कार्य करते हुए उसे किन परिस्थितियों से गुजरना पड़ेगा? चूँकि हर व्यक्ति अपने आप में विशिष्ट है, उसकी अपनी इच्छाए, पसंद, नापसंद होती है, ऐसे में किसी व्यक्ति का अनुभव सहायक हो सकता है, लेकिन निर्णायक परिस्थिति में नहीं ले जा सकता| वास्तविक जीवन से कटे होने से इसमें यह खोट भी है की यहाँ से निकल कर विद्यार्थी अपना काम स्वतंत्र रूप से कर पाने में अक्षम रहता है| अर्थात उद्यमिता की मौत, मतलब पढ़े लिखे उद्यमी मिलने की संभावना न्यून|

उपायों की खोज

शिक्षा के जीवन में इतने महत्वपूर्ण होने के बाद भी, इन सब न्यूनताओ को देखते हुए हम चुप कैसे रह सकते है| शिक्षा मात्र जीविकोपार्जन की आवश्यकता नहीं है, यह इससे अधिक हमारी ख़ुशी, सामाजिक समृद्धि का साधन है| इसे विद्यार्थी के लिए जवाबदेह और पारदर्शी होना ही चाहिए| आइये इसके विभिन्न स्वरूपों का अध्ययन करे| इसके लिए अपनी सोच बदले, हम अपने बच्चो की दिमागी खुराक के प्रति सही जिम्मेवारी निभाये| शिक्षा हर उस कार्य से प्राप्त की जा सकती है, जो समाज अथवा प्रकृति के लिए किसी न किसी रूप में उपयोगी हो| ऐसे कार्यो को छोटे पैमाने पर करने से शिक्षा के व्यवहारिक जीवन में उपयोग के लिए तानाबाना बुना जा सकता है| इस तानेबाने पर बच्चो को सरलता से आगे बढ़ाते हुए उन्हें सामाजिक दायित्व समझने और कार्य चुनने की व्यवहारिक स्वतंत्रता दी जा सकती है| इस प्रकार न सिर्फ हम एक आत्मनिर्भर व्यक्तित्व का निर्माण कर सकते है साथ ही उद्यमिता के गुणों में वृद्धि कर सकते है| यह पारदर्शिता व्यक्ति को कार्य के चुनाव में व्यवहारिक स्वतंत्रता दे सकती है साथ ही गलत को गलत और सही को सही कहने की इच्छाशक्ति भी प्रदान कर सकती है|

शोधयात्रा के सबक

मुझे मेरे किसी दोस्त से मालूम पड़ा की अनिल सर शोध यात्रा पर जा रहे है| और वे ऐसा हर साल दो बार करते है| मै पहले से ही किसी ऐसी चीज की तलाश में था जो किसी तरह मुझे वास्तविक काम से जोड़ दे, मेरा मतलब जो वाकई लोगो से जुडी समस्याओ के बारे में हो| मै हमेशा से इस तलाश में हु की कोई ऐसा काम मिले जिसे मै सच्चाई के साथ कर सकू, जिससे मै लोगो मै ख़ुशी बाँट संकू, और उनके साथ काम में आनंद ले सकू| अत: यह एक सुनहरा मौका था जब मै नीचे उतर कर देख सकता था| तब अमित सर के साथ मै ने शोधयात्रा में जाने का कार्यक्रम बनाया|
हम शाम को वर्धा पहुंच गए और उसके बाद ऐसे बहुत से लोगो से मिलना हुआ जो शोधयात्रा में अक्सर जाया करते है| और कुछ लोग (हम जैसे) जिन्हें इस बार ही मालूम पड़ा था, वे यहाँ पहुंचे| अगले रोज दिन भर की कार्यशाला चली और बहुत कुछ ऐसा जानने को मिला जो शायद अखबारों में किताबो में कभी पढने को नहीं मिलता| वहां HMT (गेहूं की संकर जाती) के जनक, centre for science for villages की डायरेक्टर, कई NGOs के संचालक, गांवो के ऐसे लोग जो गाँवो की समस्याओ से जूझ रहे है, भी मौजूद थे| इन सब के मौजूदगी से हमें वर्धा के गांवो के बारे में, वहां की समस्याओ के बारे में, लुप्त होते ज्ञान और बहुत से लोगो द्वारा चलाये जा रहे अभियानों के बारे में मालूम हुआ| ये सभी लोग किसी न किसी तरह इस क्षेत्र के उत्थान में लगे हुए है| ऐसा बहुत कुछ एहसास हुआ जिससे मालुम पड़ता है की न जाने कितने ही लोग आराम पसंद जिन्दगी छोड़ कर कुछ करने में जुटे हुए है, अतीत के सुनहरे पन्नो के रेशमी यादगार पलों से भविष्य को सुनहरा करने की चाहत में इस अंधकारमय वर्तमान में दिये की तरह जल रहे है| उन्हें अपनी नहीं दुसरो की चिंता है, कुछ मेरे जैसे लोग है जो यहाँ घनात्मक उर्जा स्रोत के पास उर्जा बटोरने पहुंच गए|
इसके उपर गांधीजी और विनोबाजी का आश्रम अपने आप में दाता होने की प्रतिष्ठित होते हुए आज भी उदारता से लगे हुए है, उस जगह का वातावरण ही जैसे मुनियों के आश्रम जैसा हो गया है, वहां बैठ के समझ आता है की क्यों एक छोटी सी कुटिया world peace conference के लिए सर्वथा उपयुक्त थी, क्योंकी वहां गांधीजी ने नई तालीम की शुरुवात की, जो की वास्तव में समाज की भलाई से ओतप्रोत है, उसमे विज्ञान की महत्ता नहीं सामाजिक और आत्मिक कल्याण को महत्त्व दिया गया है, वह प्रेम से ओतप्रोत है, उसमे प्राणी की भावनाओ और प्रकृति के स्वरुप के लिए ही किसी भी चीज को मह्त्व दिया गया है| ऐसी जगह से शोधयात्रा शुरू करना हमारे लिए प्रेरणाप्रद रहा और कई लोगो का आशीर्वाद मिला|
इस शोधयात्रा का श्रेय अनिल गुप्ताजी और उनके सहयोगियों को जाता है जिन्होंने सालो-साल मेहनत कर कई मुकाम हांसिल किये| अनिल गुप्ताजी को देखकर मुझे लगा की शायद इनकी अधीरता ही उनको इस मुकाम पर पहुँचने मदद कर रही है| यहाँ ये लोग गाँवो के लोगो की बौधिक संपदा जो उनकी या उनके इर्दगिर्द की समस्याओ से निपटान के लिए उपाय खोजती है, पर्यावरण संरक्षण, वन संपदा और पौराणिक समझ को बनाये रखने की कोशिश करती है उनको सहेजने और corporate हमलो से बचाने कि कवायद कर रहे है| ये कोशिश करते है दादी-नानी के नुस्खो को बचाने और उन्हें परखने कि और उसके बाद मे ये उन्हें राष्ट्रीय database में सहेजा जाता है, ताकि इन्हें कोई भी काम में ले सके| इस ही तरह ग्रामीणों द्वारा बनाई गई मशिनो के साथ किय जाता है, जिसके patent rights उसके सर्जक के नाम पर लिए जाते है और फिर अनिल सर कि टीम उसका business model बना कर entrepreneurs को देती है जिससे वह अधिकाधिक लोगो के जीवन को उन्नति की राह पर ले आये|

Thank you all.

I am happy that my existence make you Happy,

I am thankful to you all, who come into my life,

touched me, my emotions, ideas and all,

that the nature sent you to affect my life,

and in the process you achieved me,

for whatever I am. I send you love 

as a part of me lives in you

a part of you lives in me,

hoping that we all work coherent,

so that all the nature get imbibed in us

and a part of us will leave a mark in the nature,

and a positive note on the instrument will ring 

like somebody touches the veena strings.

Resurrection from Dead/Broken

This post is definitely reverse from the last one, its a kind of human behavior where he (here me) feels bad than there will also be a positive idea to help overcoming last setbacks. Yes I was hurt of people who started ruining their life but who know if it is a start of building a wall. It is very fact that join of the broken things has best strength whether it may cow boy's bones or heart. Sometimes I also feel like to get broken, so that when I come out of that phase, I would be stronger, I would be healthier and probably invincible to further such attacks. The time I would take would be a time of rest and recovery, but for some people frequent attacks make them weak and others tougher. I would wish if my friends have struck in some emotional attacks earlier, they would resurrect from the broken and my part would become stronger. As stronger people makes stronger societies. 

"i love people, love their efforts and i love if they let me feel jealous, jealous of what good they are doing, that aspires me to be as good as them. and the feel of anger comes when you got to know about good person, whom you met sometime, is ruining himself that ruins a part of you"

Is this positive attitude, we say GOD?

Hurt from good people

They say In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies,but the silence of our friends.
Probably this would not be as sarcastic as - 

When you are building a Team, from the outset till end, what actually pains is ruining of good minds by mere and meaningless comparisons from others.

I found people so intelligent that I believe they would have done wonders, just if they would not have run behind certain goals as set by their surroundings which turns out to be fake and illusive. In this list many friends are adding day by day and I am helplessly looking at them, falling in abyss.

It does pain, it hurts, yes it hurts really.

मुस्कराहट

इस  मुस्कराहट  के  लिए  

तेरी  उस  प्यारी  बोली  के  लिए  

ऐ  जिन्दगी  की  राहों  में  मिलने वाले 

राहगीर  इस  अपनी  सी  ख़ुशी  के  लिए  

दिल  के  दरवाजे  खोल  के  बैठा  हूँ 

इस  तन्हाई  में  तेरे  अपनेपन में  

मै समय  को  रोक  के  बैठा  हूँ 

मै  तेरा  होने  की  सोच  के बैठा हूँ 

बुद्धुजीवियों ने केजरीवाल को जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय से भगाया

       २३ मार्च को कोयना हॉस्टल में हुई आम सभा ज ने वि के इतिहास में वैचारिक विपन्नता और ज ने वि के आम छात्र के लोकतान्त्रिक अधिकारों के हनन के रूप में देखी जाएगी| कोयना की मैस हम जैसे लोगो से भरी थी| और अरविन्द अपना मत रख रहे थे| अपना वक्तव्य पूर्ण करने के बाद जब प्रश्नों के जवाब देने लगे, तब एक छात्रा ने लम्बी सूची निकाल कर सवाल पर सवाल दागने शुरू कर दिए| जिन्हें जवाब आने-ना आने की परवाह किये बगैर प्रस्तुत किया जा रहा था| और इस तरह ज ने वि के विवेकपूर्ण वातावरण की धजियाँ उडाना शुरू किया गया| बात यही समाप्त नहीं हुई| जब अरविन्द ने सूची के कुछ सवालों को छोड़कर कुछ अन्य छात्रों के प्रश्नों का उत्तर देना शुरू किया, तब पुन: इन छात्रों के समूह ने शोरगुल मचाकर सभा के आचरणों को ध्वस्त कर दिया| और अपने सभी प्रश्नों के उत्तर माँगने लगे| इससे पहले की मैं अपने प्रश्नों और अपने लोकतान्त्रिक अधिकारों की माँग करू, मैं आपको वह यक्ष प्रश्न बताना चाहूँगा जिसपर कुछ छात्र आपा खोकर सभा करने /होने की मर्यादा को भंग करने  पर उतारू हो गए| यह प्रश्न था-

"अरविन्द जब आप ______ वर्ष में YFE के banner तले आये थे, तब आपने OBC आरक्षण के खिलाफ बोला था| क्या यह सच है?"

अब मैं ज ने वि का एक आम छात्र होने की हैसियत से छात्र समुदाय से कुछ सवाल पूछना चाहता हूँ जो निम्नलिखित  है-

1. क्या  ज ने वि समुदाय का हिस्सा होने के नाते मुझे अरविन्द से सवाल पूछने / उन्हें सुनने का अधिकार नहीं है?
2. क्या हम ज ने वि समुदाय के रूप में अरविन्द जैसे नामो से इतना डर गए है की हम उन्हें कुछ बोलने ही नहीं देना चाहते?
3. यदि अरविन्द OBC आरक्षण का विरोध कर भी रहे है तब भी क्या उन्हें  भ्रष्टाचार  पर बोलने का कोई हक़ नहीं है?
4. जब हम कांचा इलाही द्वारा "Pork and Beef Politics of Food Culture" के बारे में शान्ति से सुन सकते है| तब आम आदमी को त्रस्त करने वाले, रोजमर्रा के जीवन में रचे बसे भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ सुनने में हमारी चूलें  क्यों हिलती है?
5. क्या हम ज ने वि के छात्र जो सार्वभौमिक बौद्धिक होने का दम्भ भरते है, अपने लोकतान्त्रिक अधिकारों का सम्मान कर सकते है?
6. क्या हम, हमारी विचारधारा से मेल न खाने वाली विचारधारा का सम्मान करना जानते है?
7. क्या हम पहचान विलुप्त होने से भयभीत, दुसरो के अधिकारों का हनन करने वाली कुत्सित मानसिकता को हाशिये पर लाने के लिए तैयार है?
8. क्या हम ज ने वि के उन्मुक्त वातावरण के काबिल है?
9. या अपनी पहचान खोजने की लालसा में लगे एक पागल की तरह है जो कुछ भी हरकत कर के अपने होने का एहसास दिलाना चाहता है?

I am Kapil, I am doing research in computers

many times i think, it would have been far better if i could have friends beyond my academic domain. other times i have so many of questions to know about or just want that if some one could help me doing this and that... like pasting "about me" on trees, knowing my cycle completely making automata toy or may be knowing about human civilization specially through lingustics. now what do you think about learning out of the curriculum without grades/certificates/degrees. i mean dont you feel like learning just for fun, infact completely for fun.

Lessons learnt from China Visit for ELM 2011

Preparation before the conference

• Prepare well for your presentation.
• Note the name of professors coming there and their fields of work
• Read and discuss papers of professors you want to impress or the field you are interested in.
• Read papers’ of keynote speakers especially there core papers which may have the foundation theory.

Rules to attend a conference

• Present your paper properly.
• Try to understand other’s ideas about the things and ask for the basic paper they are following.
• Make your attitude to socialize there and make friends and have fun and finally collect contact details.

What to do after the conference?

• Socialize with friends you made there.
• Do ask questions to the professors and other people about their paper and other usual stuff that might have impressed you. This can be done through mails.

Most important thing is to enjoy the time wherever you are.

देश में देखकर हुंकार,

Weakness-Corruption vs Strength-Happiness

Deciding to take a week long break is an hard stuff for me and for that matter for everyone, i suppose. But can we do it? I know that the cost to what we will achieve after that, is small, still I fear, fear to take such a long break from my work. Ha ... my work, I know, what I am fearing about is something, where I haven't really worked. And to get achievement from it, now I feel fear. Fear that I feel I should get something I do not deserve. So this is real corruption. And now perhaps I can understand how a person feel when one come to know that something, he never liked creeped into oneself. It was an usual strength of mine that I never took what i didn't deserve and now i am feeling a weakness creeping over me. Oh! me myself help me to over come this weakness.

Self Learning Platform at JNU

Objective:

To provide students a common platform where they can share and learn various things among themselves.

Motivation:

1. JNU is multidisciplinary University, and by this reason we should promote students of different background to meet, interact and discuss about their surroundings and their learning (either from their studies or from their experiences).
2. Our University allows students to take up courses from different streams, yet many of us don’t know why we should choose one and also which one to choose.
3. And in many cases, even knowing does not help. The reason for this is that the prerequisites to learn that course are not there. For example a Master’s student cannot learn a language because he is not allowed to take up course for Bachelors’.
4. At times this is also possible that a student has cracked the JNU entrance, yet he may not know certain basic course(s) that are building blocks of the course, he joined.

Other perceivable benefits of this Platform

1. Increases confidence in students
2. Helps students understand more about their qualities

Procedure to achieve the objective

1. Students representatives would ask students to submit their courses well before the starting of the semester with following things-
1. Objective of the course.
2. Need of the course

i. As very basic knowledge in some particular field

ii. Prerequisite of some course running at University

3. What topics the course will cover?
4. Approval from concerned JNU faculty/supervisor about-

i. Course is good enough to invest the University resources

ii. Student is good enough to teach the course

2. All these courses will be listed on JNU website’s student’s section
3. Website will also help students in enrolling any of the course
4. Each class may include attendance of the students, which may be used to decide if the resources are properly utilized or not.
5. Convenor of the course would have to take the responsibility of the infrastructure granted for the class

Account of Meeting with First Appealate Authority for "Bathroom Renovation RTI"

In continuation with RTI on Bathroom Renovation

There were atleast six people with me to talk including FAA(First Appealate Authority-Registrar- Sandeep Chatterji), PIO(Jit Singh), Someone from IHA etc. Majorly the complete talk was lead by FAA. These are the lines, I remember-

me: Excuse me, Sir can I ask my friend to come in

FAA: no, only Kapil can come, who are you?

me: I am kapil. can i take a min to tell my friend to go?

FAA: ok

After coming back to the meeting...

FAA: Which center?

me: computer science.

FAA: doing BTech?

me: no masters, Mtech.

FAA: you live in periyar

me: ya

PIO: 149

FAA: Yes, Kapil do you get all the replies?

me: May be, but i am not able to understand.

FAA: let us both help each other to understand the matter

me:ok

FAA: lets start your questions one by one where is your RTI.

FAA: your first question "Please give the list of parameters and(or) reasons bathrooms were found to be in need of renovation."

FAA: were bathrooms were all right? what were the reasons, Kapil?

me: my reply does not matter, i want your reply, I mean JNU's reply

FAA: Have you got reply from IHA?

me: I think I have, please let me see.. No, I dont have this.

FAA: but you wrote that you don't need it, earlier, didn't you?

me: ya, i write. but this tells that- "because of students' repersentations you started", which cannot be the right reason

JNU cannot do it just because of studnts' repersentation

FAA: But, for me it means that you don't need this answer

(Teaching me..that you should never say no to anything coming without cost ... bla bla to show me that i am in fix now)

me: ok lets come to other questions.

[few questions are answered by CPWD so i repeatedly asked to skip that]

Q9. List all parameter, for which official checked the state of bathrooms and found them ready to use

Answer by CPWD: All necessary parameters were checked during execution of work for renovation of bathrooms.

FAA: they have answered correctly, you asked parameters they have said all parameters, if you want detailed you must have given some examples

me: can you transfer my first appeal to CPWD?

FAA: no this cannot be done.

me: Q10 Does some quality standards were maintained in renovation of bathrooms? if so please tell.

Answer by CPWD: Yes, all quality standards were maintained in renovation of bathrooms.

FAA: this is also perfectly correct, you must have asked what standard you are talking about if you want more. They have given you exactly what you asked they are not interested in giving you more information. for detailed information you must directly ask CPWD with proper questions, you must specify what you need.like BEA standard or what?

me: since the time may have passed to apply first appeal at CPWD can you give me any letter or any way to proceed with CPWD?

PIO: we can give a letter. right sir? (asking FAA)

FAA: no, we cannot. you may file fresh RTI with CPWD refering this RTI.

Looking for Library or the enthusiastic readers

I have few very old books and since they are now out of curriculum, I don't think students would love to take them yet they are by good writers. I would appreciate your help in finding right place for them where I could donate them. List of the books could be found here

About Me

After writing this much of stuff I suppose I may be little sure to write about me. In one word I am enthusiast or may be activist or at-least these are the words which I would love to be qualify with. Sometimes I think I want to be very scary for many if not all in that sense, I love RTI, boring others with my futuristic plans, mathematics, old and new stories, wired ideas, little bit of philosophy (which I swear, I cannot read).

My aspirations to work:

 1) I want to spread good books in different (Indian) languages so that Indian people should get access to good knowledge resources in their own language
2) Learning different languages should get easier.
3) Technology should be creatively used in such a way that it help the less privileged people more
4) Things which are more
 Create some applications which can help us collecting data (do not let the user know about the effort that he is putting while collecting data for us). Once the data is collected we can use it for benefiting them / guide them to do better.
 making some application that helps some people and in the background they collect data for us, applications like land pointing, educational applications 

 Explore the existing and/or make technology in puzzle format so that it can be easy to use and adaptable to needs
 for example raspberry pi
